About Course
The Housing Health and Safety Rating System (HHSRS) was developed as a component of the Housing Act 2004 to replace the previous Fitness Standard.
It’s been in force since 2006 but was given more bite with the introduction of the Housing (Fitness for Habitation) Act 2018.
The government has been reviewing the HHSRS for some time and it’s likely to be a good while longer before they issue new guidance – this course will keep you up to date in the meantime.
