Give your non‑technical staff or new maintenance colleagues the essential grounding they need to understand how homes are built, how they function, and what can go wrong.

After completing a short e-learing induction the course structure is 5 units taken over approximately 5 weeks

Each unit is delivered over one day and includes a comprehensive workbook for learning and revision.

🏠 ABBE/Upkeep Level 2 Award in Understanding the Housing Health and Safety Rating System

One‑day online course for staff assessing or managing properties
Ideal for housing officers, estate managers, PSL teams, surveyors and private property managers.

Your team will learn:

  • Practical application of the Fitness for Habitation Acts (2018 & 2022) and the HHSRS
  • How to identify hazards, deficiencies and defects
  • Understanding the 29 HHSRS hazards
  • Standards underpinning Fitness for Habitation and HHSRS
